Must Do Tour Is Mind-Blowing

My husband and I came to St Lucia for our 8yr anniversary and decided to do this tour on our actual anniversary day. This tour exceeded our widest expectations. It was literally the best tour we've ever done and we travel the world regularly.
Vince, our tour guide felt like family. We were able to get a feel for the island, the culture, the food and history of the island. We had a local breakfast that was delicious. We did a tour of a farm and words can't describe how amazing Eden's Garden Farm was. Silvo, the owner, was very educational and entertaining.
After we left, we got a snack, did a rum tour and ended the day at Vince's mother's House. The food was mind blowing!!! Seriously... We were speechless... All of us on the tour. It was so delicious and such positive vibes.
We didn't want the day to end. We can't wait to come back just so that we can do this tour again. Make this tour a top priority during your visit to St Lucia.
Delvin is awesome!

We booked the full tour and full it was! We had numerous stops between the authentic bakes and saltfish salad breakfast and the saltfish curry with breadfruit lunch to take in the sights from Rodney Bay down to the Pitons. Delvin made stops to buy water for us as it was a typical hot and humid day too.

Delvin, our guide, was a calm driver and transport was very comfortable for 4 of us. Delvin gave us many insights into local St Lucian life which added to the experience. Lunch was served at his mum's house which was a nice personal touch. The highlight of the trip came after viewing the Pitons from the viewing patform acrioss the Soufriere valley.

After passing through Soufriere, we were taken in a SE direction until the asphalt ended and transferred to a 4WD to take us up a very bumpy road to the Eden Estate located in a saddle between the mountains. The strong breeze through there was natural aircon and a relief from the intense humidity and heat. We were given a tour of the estate after explanations about the flora and fauna found in the jungle around it. Some sugarcane was cut and pieces handed out for everyone to chew on, followed by two different varieties of guava straight from the trees.
We then harvested our own peanuts and carrots to try out, which was great fun and educational as peanuts look and taste different to what you buy in the shop. We also had the most delicious coconut water straight from the nut and after splitting it open, we enjoyed the coconut jelly before leaving some for the birds to feast on. To top that, we ate the softest, sweetest mango you could imagine.
We then roasted/cooked cashews until they popped and enjoyed breaking the husks open to eat the fruit. That was followed by a spicy homemade rum tasting. After that we made our way back to Rodney Bay.
The tour was worth every dollar. An excellent day out for the family.
A personal tour guide to see hidden gems in St. Lucia

Delvin took us to so many cool and quaint spots in St. Lucia - places you would never know to stop yourself. We even had lunch at his Mom's house - how adorable and authentic is that!? The day and tour was a highlight of our trip and provided a little bit of everything - including a local St. Lucian breakfast (finally tried the cocoa tea!), St. Lucia Distillers (rum tasting - and they give you the whole bottle to pour for yourself...crazy!), and tour of a local farm. Although I was expecting to see more of the island (we didn't stop at all the stops listed on here/on his website), I didn't even care because we already had such a great day so full of experiences. Delvin is personable, knowledgeable, and an earnest guy which was refreshing. One of the best, if not THE best, experiences of our trip.
Awesome unique, personalized culinary tour!

Delvin took us to a wonderful breakfast spot in town for salt fish and Johnny bakes with cocoa tea, then we took the distillery tour and rum tasting before an awesome lunch of breadfruit and dumplings. Rounded off the afternoon with a visit to the chocolate shop and then a tour of a working farm (Grand Eden). Meanwhile he made great conversation in the car, answering all our questions about the island (and food). Met and exceeded all our expectations!!
